Aquamarine is a mermaid who believes in true love. She was found in a pool, by Hailey and Claire. Aqua is in love with a guy named Raymond. Raymond is a guy who works at the Capri Snack Store. Claire and Hailey were trying to hook them up, so that Aquamarine could be safe from the people. The Capri was closing. The summer was hot. It was like standing next to a fire. The two friends Hailey and Claire were moving away from each other. One night Aqua and Raymond had a night eating together (a date). Raymond was in love with Aqua the mermaid (half human, half fish). But because Aqua was a mermaid, Hailey and Claire took her as fast as they could back to the pool. Because she was a mermaid and it was too hot for her to stay out too long, Aqua finally ate dinner with her true love.

When I first started reading this book, I liked it. The book talked a little about true love. To those who are looking for true love, this book shows you some sign of love. Some people don't believe in true love. Well I do!!!!

You can find the book at the Seattle Public Library and Mr. E's Read 180 library, in the Paperbacks section.
